Lebanon’s Farmers Market operates its eleventh season this year running every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. June to October at Lebanon Town Hall, 579 Exeter Road. In addition to 12 regular local and regional vendors there will be some newcomers to this year’s market as well as some local artisans. Potential vendors may contact Phil Chester at 860-642-2006.
At a time when many of us are enjoying and realizing the benefits of buying local it is reassuring to know that Lebanon Farmers Market is stepping up to the plate (no pun intended)! Vendors are more committed than ever to providing us with a fresh array of local and fresh products that will tickle our palate and fill our healthy pantry needs. Items sold at the Market include vegetables, fruits, cheeses, meats, honey products, maple syrup, flora and fauna, baked goods, prepared foods, sweets, soaps, artistry and more! Come try a free sample or purchase a freshly-cooked breakfast sandwich or hamburger or hot dog.
Funding for the market is made possible by generous contributions from the CT Department of Agriculture, The Scotts Company, Kofkoff Egg Farms, Prides Corner Farm, Savings Institute Bank & Trust and The Farmers Cow. Lebanon’s Economic Development Commission funds weekly live music played by the awesome Jim Ferguson. Bring your kids and let them join Jim in the fun!
The Market sponsors a $10 VIP program where patrons purchase a button for the season that allows them to take part in weekly sale items provided by each vendor.
However, you don’t need a special event or reason to visit Lebanon Farmers Market. Every day is a special day at Lebanon Farmers Market. Give us a try and you won’t be disappointed. Without our vendors and YOUR SUPPORT there would be no Farmers Market. So please come visit historic Lebanon and learn about what’s grown and made in the region, and enjoy the bounty of summer!
See you at the Market!
